Payment Policy

At Elegant Kitchen Design, we want your payment experience to be as clear and straightforward as our countertops and cabinetry are beautiful. This policy outlines how payment works for both online store orders and local custom installation projects.

Accepted Payment Methods

• Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
• Secure online checkout through our website's PCI-compliant payment processor
• In-showroom payment by card or check, at 905 Florida Ave SE, Denham Springs, LA 70726

We do not accept cash payments for online orders, and we do not store your full card information on our systems.

Online Store Orders

Full payment is required at checkout for all online orders, including stock cabinetry, accessories, and cut-to-order stone countertops. Your order will not enter production or shipping until payment has been successfully processed.

Local Custom Installation Projects

Because countertops are fabricated specifically to your measurements, local installation projects follow a deposit-based payment structure:

1. Deposit at order confirmation. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total project cost is due when you confirm your material selection and measurements. This deposit secures your slab and schedules fabrication.
2. Balance due at installation. The remaining balance is due upon completion of installation, before our team leaves your home or job site.

Custom orders will not be scheduled for fabrication until the deposit has been received.

Pricing

• Prices quoted are valid for 30 days from the date of the quote, unless otherwise stated. Material availability and pricing are subject to change after that period.
• Final pricing is confirmed once measurements are verified, either through your submitted measurements (online orders) or our in-home measurement service (local orders).
• Additional charges may apply for custom cutouts, edge profiles, oversized slabs, or expedited fabrication, and will be disclosed before you are charged.

Sales Tax

Applicable state and local sales tax will be added to your order total based on your shipping or installation address, in accordance with applicable law.

Contractor and Bulk Orders

Contractors and customers placing bulk orders may be eligible for volume pricing and alternate payment terms. Contact us directly to discuss a contractor account or bulk order invoicing.

Declined or Failed Payments

If a payment is declined or fails to process, your order will be placed on hold until a valid payment is received. We are not responsible for delays in fabrication, shipping, or installation scheduling caused by payment issues.

Refunds

Refunds are issued in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy and will be returned to your original method of payment.

Payment Security

All online transactions are encrypted and processed through a secure, PCI-compliant payment gateway. We do not have access to, and do not store, your complete card number or payment credentials.
